March 14, 2025- March 10 through 12, 48 district high schoolers—led by advisors (left) Janine Hatton (High School East), Robert Gold (South), and Jamie Tesoro (North)—attended the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference, the largest ever, made up of more than 4,000 students.
Students were judged on various business projects, from 17-page business plans to animations and digital video productions. Students who attended the conference include the following Top 10 Medalists:
- Ava Licastri and Katelyn Bell: High School East - Visual Design (4th Place and qualification to NLC)
- Michael Thomas: MATES/High School East - Business Plan
- Jake Spinelli, Shane Hughes, and John Schmitt: High School South - Introduction to Business Presentation
- Grace Hewitt: High School South - Introduction to Business Presentation
- Olivia Capetta: High School South - Digital Animation
- Riddhi Jariwala and Siddhi Jariwalla: High School South - Digital Animation

Additionally, High School North's FBLA students won the coveted Gold Seal Award of Merit.
