April 15, 2025- Every winter, Shirely Boney's Intermediate East homeroom coordinates a coat and hat drive to help those in need. This season they collected 20 huge bags filled with hoodies, gloves, hats, and coats, and donated them to the school's Rock the Closet as well as Seeds of Service in Brick, which provides relief for those in need. Sometime it takes a season for seeds to sprout, but that goodwill is in full bloom. "Huge thank you to all who contributed with donations and spreading the word," said Boney. Way to go, Int. East!
