Rt. Rev. Albert Van DuzerRev. Van Duzer, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of NJ, is not only a distinguished citizen of his church, but also of his community. A citation presented to him by the Camden County Bar Association cites The Rev. Van Duzer for "giving unselfishly of his time for the betterment of citizens of all age groups regardless of race, creed, or nationality." He has participated in the activities of more than 50 organizations and holds many citations and awards from these groups.The Rev. Van Duzer earned an AB degree from Trinity College, attended the General Theological Seminary in N. Y. C. for three years, receiving a doctorate in divinity from Philadelphia Divinity School in 1967. The Rev. Van Duzer also cites his pride in the Toms River High School football team of 1933 which won the Central Jersey Sectional State championship and receiving a gold football for playing tackle.
